Please note the following conference presentation guidelines:
  • Each presentation has 15 min. followed by  5 min discussion. Session chairs will coordinate presentations in their respective sessions
  • There will be LCD projector available in every session room.  Please prepare your presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or 2003.
  • Save your files on a flash (USB) drive and on a CD just in case.  Also, it is highly recommended that you email your presentation to yourself on a web-based client (hotmail, yahoo, etc.) as a backup.  NO Floppy Disks OR Transparencies Please.
  • It would be a good idea to bring your own laptop for your presentation to insure that your paper is presented properly.
  • Every registered participant will be issued a name tag that he/she should wear at all times.  No one without name tag will be allowed into the conference area

Keynote Speaker

Kaya Kazmirci

Internal Audit Director for AVEA (Turkish Mobile Telecommunications Operator) and formerly the Head of Sourcing for Ericsson in Turkey

Kaya Kazmirci is the Internal Audit Director for Avea (Turkish Mobile Telecommunications Operator) and formerly the Head of Sourcing for Ericsson in Turkey. Kaya has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Sciences Modified with Computer Science and Electronics from Dartmouth College and is a CISA, CISM and CISSP. He has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology and Business and is presently the President of the ISACA Istanbul Chapter.  Kaya has extensive experience in restructuring the IT function, and implementation of audit methodologies in large banks and telecommunications operators. Kaya’s experiences include extensive reviews of banking systems, and IT organizations, Telco billing & charging systems as well as related legal compliance standards development (including the Turkish and Romanian Banking IT Audit standards). Kaya has experience in providing technical, operational, organizational, security and theoretical advice to Internet and e-Commerce focused organizations. Kaya is well versed many generally accepted IT standards such as CobiT, the International Standards Organization Standard 17799 for Information Security Management, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, WebTrust and Systrust. Kaya also has had experience in implementing and auditing ERP applications such as SAP, Oracle and multiple bespoke systems.
