Title:
Computer
Systems and Learning effectiveness
Abstract: This paper discusses
how computer based learning (CBL) performance can be optimized. Kolb
learning styles theory is used to show that computer based learning can
be better than traditional learning in terms of learning performance.
It is argued that the fit between Kolb learning styles and computer
based learning material would lead to high user learning performance at
the individual level. The outcomes of this discussion are of high
importance to people who use computer based learning systems as well as
to educational institutions that offer computer based learning material
and organizations that use these systems to train their employees
