Session
Description
The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries and other smaller

Different countries have tried in different ways to address this issue
by creating specific NIS infrastructure and programs.
This session will:
• Examine the challenge from the point of view of the
MENA countries
• Explore the solutions adopted by countries of South

• Identify good practice and lessons for the future
with a focus on the management challenges faced by public sector
professionals working in the NIS as well as the forms of knowledge
needed to facilitate their work
