The following are links to few travel agencies for those who might want to take advantage of the  peak travel season in Portugal.  This page is for information purposes only.  Please see the important disclaimer at the bottom of this page


A half day to discover Lisbon. A drive down Liberty Avenue to Rossio, the very heart of the city. Alfama, the oldest and most picturesque quarter (stop in an handicraft store). Then a drive along the River-Side to admire Black Horse Square, Crossing the Bridge Over the Tagus (if possible) with stops at Belém Tower and at Monument to the Discoveries. Next a visit to Jerónimos Monastery (church), a marvel of stone lacework and to the Coach Museum, where is the world’s largest collection (both closed on Mondays, replaced by Ajuda Palace or “Fundação Medeiros e Almeida”)

Daily - Estoril coast (glimpse of the Casino and its gardens), Cascais (glimpse of the fishing port), Boca do Inferno, Guincho, Cabo da Roca (te westernmost point of Europe), Colares*, Sintra - Lunch - Free Time. Queluz Palace (visit/closed on Tuesday, replaced by the National Palace of Sintra). Return to Lisbon.

* Way done on tramcar (Colares-Sintra) from April to October on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The other days by bus.

Daily - Crossing the Bridge over the River Tagus (if possible), Coach Museum, Jerónimos Monastery (visit of the Church) (both closed on Mondays, replaced by the visit of Ajuda Palace or the "Fundação Medeiros e Almeida"), Tower of Belém, Monument to the Discoveries, Alfama (walking/wine tasting), Rossio, Marquês de Pombal Square. Free time to lunch. 14h30, proceeding to Sintra Palace (visit / closed on Wednesdays, replaced by Queluz Palace), Cabo da Roca (the Westernmost point of Europe, from 1st April to 31 October), Guincho, Cascais (Glimpse of the fishing port), Estoril (Glimpse of the Casino and its Gardens). Return to Lisbon.

A mini cruise is a real must in order to enjoy Lisbon, a city overlooking the river and the ocean. Centuries of history will emerge from its monuments scattered along the hills. Panoramic view of “Parque das Nações”.
