Managing e-government projects failure and risks
Abstract: E-government has become an important tool for the
public sector agencies modernization. However, e-government projects are
not usually successful because they are affected by several risk factors
which may cause their failure. It is expected that the adoption of adequate
measures to deal with these factors may result in more successful e-government
projects. This article proposes three groups of risk factors in the case
of government to government projects. Also, it identifies some of the countermeasures
that may be adopted to manage each type of risk factors
