Title:
Design Alternatives in Developing a Fuzzy Inference System for Measuring
E-Readiness
Abstract: This paper presents the design options and issues
in developing a fuzzy logic based inference system for measuring e-readiness
(the investment climate) of a country. Developing such an inference system
is not easy as the system should be capable of processing a large set of
input parameters (indicators), necessitating an enormous fuzzy rules base.
This paper presents alternative design patterns to minimize the fuzzy rules
base.
