Title: Secure Multi-Agent Based Digital
Payment System
Abstract: E-commerce
has grown at an astounding rate over the last few years and so have a
number of e-payment transactions. Current e-payment systems such as
Plastic cards (either debit or credit), digital check are prone to
identify thefts, fraudulent uses and network overhead. These drawbacks
give rise to develop robust e-payment systems. Digital cash or coin is
an e-payment system that simulates different features (security,
Anonymity, offline, real time payment, etc) in ordinary currency. Since
digital coin systems, proposed in 1988, different e-payment schemes
based on digital coins are explored, but none of these schemes satisfy
the e-commerce community in becoming the main e-payment model for
e-commerce. In this paper we introduce a new multi-agent based digital
coin scheme with smart card technology to get over challenges facing
digital coin system
and to automate and unified different e-commerce processes such as
searching
for products, transfer payment, etc.
