Abstract

The nature of customer-company interactions is undergoing fundamental change.  Increasingly, customer interactions are less with the company and its representatives and more with technology.  This proliferation of technology-based products and services, and the increasing rate at which companies are applying technology to market to and serve customers more efficiently has been noted by researchers who call for a thorough assessment of customers’ technology readiness.
