Title: Ring Modeling: An approach in
data warehouse for bi-directional analysis
Abstract: Data
warehouse over the years have been using star oriented schemas for
storing subjective data. But it only reflects subjective data for
analytics, and is not capable of handling transactional data. In
respect of data analysis, star schema
facilitates unidirectional descriptive analysis but fail to provide
bi-directional
business analysis and information delivery. In order to solve this
problem,
we have developed architecture of entity-subject modeling for data
warehouse.
Proposed architecture of data warehouse conceptual modeling has been
constructed
and evaluated by example.
