Title: Proposal of a New Model for Third – Generation (3G) Networks Quality–of–Service (QoS)

Abstract
:
Future mobile/wireless services constitute a set of multidimensional issues that stretch beyond the more technical reconsiderations. It is believed that for such network configurations to flourish and prosper, several social, business and even consumer – oriented paradigms are essential. Users can be thought of as the fuel for the advances in the field of mobile network management. Technology innovation is believed to be shaping various user behavior patterns; conversely; we believe that user behavior should also shape network technology most particularly radio resource management (RRM). In this paper we propose a potential solution to the issue of network resource management through the advance reservation of resources based on some user profile that would be used to forecast Quality – of – Service (QoS) to be provided by the network
