The Third Dimension of the User Customization on Information Portals
Design
Abstract: The worldwide penetration of the Internet has provided
great opportunities for utilizing information portals. Despite their early
advantage and superior technology, information portals design faces many
challenges. One of these challenges is globalization. This article explores
the third dimension of information portal design, which addresses user customization
on information portals in a global environment. The study results could contribute
to information portal design, information portal implementation and information
portal application in a global environment.
