Effective Information Transfer To Shirk Delays In Supply Chain Management
Abstract: Information is the supply chain driver that serves
as the glue allowing the other drives to work together to create an integrated,
coordinated supply chain. Companies come across some serious dilemmas when
dearth of information exists in the supply chain. The paper deals with integration
of supply chains and specifically concentrates on the importance of distribution
of information among various parties in the chain. Also suggests using right
information in the right place to make the chain visible. The paper depicts
a proposed model over a generalized model and has shown its impact where
the proposed model integrates the right information effectively; ultimately
shirk delays from the generalized model.
